A significant mixed-use campus in central London is being marketed for a £247.5m sale, Green Street News can reveal.

LaSalle Investment Management and Trilogy Real Estate are selling the Inventory Estate, a six acre site in Tower Hamlets, with Knight Frank and Kauffmans instructed to lead the process.

The sale includes an investment component – with the two-building Republic Campus element already completed – and a future development angle for an incoming specialist to add value. The estate is available as a whole or in parts.

The Inventory Estate includes education, data infrastructure and residential accommodation within the estate.

What’s in the inventory?

The 480,000 sq ft Republic campus, now home to more than 19,000 students, incorporates two educational buildings.

The estate extends to about 1.1m sq ft and has full planning consent for two residential towers, comprising a 36-storey purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) building with 716 rooms and a 30-storey residential tower with 150 units.

“The Inventory Estate brings together three of London’s most resilient and in-demand real estate sectors: education, data and living” Lasalle and trilogy spokesperson.

It also includes consent for a 37.8MW data centre supported by a circa 65MVA power allocation, representing around 10% of London’s consented and powered data centre pipeline.

A spokesperson for LaSalle Investment Management and Trilogy Real Estate said: “The Inventory Estate brings together three of London’s most resilient and in-demand real estate sectors: education, data and living. It reflects years of strategic investment and placemaking, creating a platform with strong income and substantial future potential. The Estate is now well positioned for its next phase of growth under new ownership.”
