Howard has been in the London property game since 1977, and pretty much reinvented the City fringe along the way.  

He says he set up Kauffmans, ‘to bring light to an otherwise dark world (and because I was too young to retire)’.  

Anyone who’s worked with Howard will tell you he’s charming, patient and a natural born problem solver. Amongst his key skills he lists – an ‘encyclopaedic knowledge of irrelevant facts’ as well as being a ‘good eater’. 

When he isn’t negotiating the next big city deal, you’ll find Howard bee keeping, collecting classic cars and roasting the best coffee this side of Yirgacheffe. 

Marsha Rabinovich

Marsha confesses to being the Queen of strategic structuring, obsessive about every minute detail of legal documents and one of only a handful of advisors that actually understand Headlease structuring, ‘for my sins’. 

Diligent and tenacious, Marsha combines the smarts of a bona fide Chess Champion and the charm of an ‘expert level’ networker. Her two proudest moments: negotiating the legal minefield of the Minories Estate and swimming with crocodiles (which was the trickiest is still up for debate). 

When she isn’t weaving her magic for Kauffmans’ clients, you’ll find Marsha rock climbing in the Alps or chilling out with a Spicy Margarita. 

Anne Housden

Anne got into property development not long after the dust had settled on the new millennium. 18 years later, she gave up her cosy City post to start Kauffmans, because ‘it was a chance to look after clients the way we wanted to’. 

A problem solver, mediator and great fun to work with, she cites her two top achievements as, ‘identifying the site and securing investment, and planning permission for Nottingham Trent University’s first London campus’, and ‘running away with First Ribbon for my fruit cake at the village fair’. 

Away from the office, you’ll find Anne messing about in boats (preferably with family, in the Caribbean, sipping on a bottomless Espresso Martini). 

Jeremy Prosser

Jeremy joined Kauffmans in 2023 after almost 25 years at City real estate firm, Chapman Swabey (who became GVA and then Avison Young). He says, ‘I needed a change and there wasn’t a better team to join than this one’ (excuse our blushes). 

Jeremy’s a hands-on, trusted advisor to our clients, and is totally at home negotiating the biggest deals for the City’s biggest players. 

Inspired by Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’, Jeremy’s motto is, ‘you only get one shot in life; don’t blow it’. So whether it’s work, skiing, tennis or playing with his kids, you can bet he’ll put 100% into it. 

Anirudh Nanda

Anirudh is a bona fide financial whizz. He brings with him a bag of tricks picked up at Royal Bank of Canada, Union Bank of Switzerland and European residential real estate specialists, IMMO. 

Anything to do with market trends, risk management and valuation; Anirudh’s your man. He’s also incredibly easy going for someone with a head full of figures (you should taste one of his Piña Coladas). 

When he isn’t up to his eyeballs in the financials, you’ll find him biking along the Thames, diving into museums and galleries, and whenever he gets the chance, roaming the Rocky Mountains in Banff National Park.
