The Blossom Yard and Studios project was complex, and our input extensive. The Shoreditch Estate (Blossom Street) was acquired over a 10-year period on behalf of the City of London Corporation. This entailed purchasing 26 adjoining freehold properties to eventually create a three-acre, mixed-use development site.
A high profile marketing campaign led to the sale of a 250-year lease to British Land Plc. We also advised on structuring of the Joint Venture agreement. Since development, Blossom Yard has been awarded BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and Wired Score ‘Platinum’ certification. Quite right, too.
