Alphabeta, EC2
The Alphabeta Building (formerly Triton Court) was secured off-market in 2012, when the freeholder went into receivership. The building underwent a comprehensive refurbishment and extension project, turning an unloved vacant 200,000 sq ft property into a 240,000 sq ft icon.
The development was pre-let during construction and sold for £280M. A net profit of £163M for our client and a new benchmark for creative space in the capital.
On completion, Alphabeta received RIBA, BCO and OAS design awards, and the transaction and was voted ‘UK Deal of the Year’ at Property Week’s Property Awards 2016.
